Last summer/beginning of Fall I participated in the first CCBC Artist Residency at the Essex Campus. I was working on new Edgar Allan Poe pieces and I finished 2 pieces there and began a third one. I can now say that with the snow we had this weekend, I finally had the time to sit down and finish the piece. Here is a look at the finished piece for Edgar Allan Poe's story "The Mystery of Marie Roget."

Good afternoon everyone! Today I started my final piece for my residency at CCBC Essex. The final piece will be "The Mystery of Marie Roget." Take a look at the sketch and let me know what you think! The residency is coming to an end soon and it was a blast to work with. The closing reception is Friday, September 21st from 6-8. I hope to see you there. I have finished my piece for "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" by Edgar Allan Poe. This is the second completed piece for the CCBC Summer Residency. It will be hanging in the gallery of the Essex Campus starting tomorrow and will be there will the closing reception on the 21st of September. I am there most Wednesdays to Fridays from 3 till about 5 or 6. Stop by and check it out in person. Welcome back everyone. Good evening everyone! This this is slightly later than the usual posts, things have been busy lately. I have been getting a lot done on my piece for Edgar Allan Poe's short story "Thou Art the Man". Here is a look at the finished value study for the piece. Tomorrow I will be in the CCBC Essex gallery from roughly 9 till 3 but may stay a bit later. Good morning everyone! Wow a post two weeks in a row. That's right I am back to trying and keep up with a post every week. As I mentioned last week, I am taking part in the CCBC Summer Residency. Tomorrow I will be in the gallery from 9-3. Feel free to stop by and see what everyone is doing! As mentioned, I am starting a new Edgar Allan Poe book. The first story I am working with is "Thou Art The Man". Below is a link to a reading of it on Youtube. I am also including the sketch of the piece for you to take a look at. It has been a while since I last posted, but I have a few things coming down the pipe that I will show soon. Exciting news! I am participating in CCBC Essex's ADIM 2018 Summer Alumni Residency. The project I will be working on is more cover images for Edgar Allan Poe pieces. That is right, I am starting my second Edgar Allan Poe Book. The first piece I will be working on is entitled "Thou Art The Man". There will be a closing reception held on Friday, September 23rd from 6-8 (MORE INFORMATION HERE), however this residency is meant to be an open gallery experience so you can stop in anytime to say hi or see what everyone is working on. Including myself, there will be 7 artist working in the gallery space at CCBC Essex. I will keep you updated with the times I will be over in the gallery on my Facebook page (HERE).
