Welcome back for week 2 of tattoo design.
Today I have the worked up sketch for the tattoo that I have come to call the Grim Croaker. Enjoy, next week I will have the black and white ink work done. Good morning everyone!
I am back with something new to show. Finally finished a project so I can start showing it off. I got to make a design for a tattoo with the theme of a Frog that looked like a Grim Reaper in a graveyard. I will be posting it in pieces according to my process. First: Character Sketch Hey everyone, I'm back. Wow it has been awhile since my last post. I just finished a new piece and thought you all might like to see it. Here is a look at the progress through completion. Also, I am working on putting together my schedule for Fall events. Stay tuned to see where I will be. New this year at the events I will be at are original pieces for sale. That's right, I will have them with me for purchase. Stay tuned for more information.
Good morning everyone! So far so good. As of now I have completed every day of Inktober so far. 12 days down and I am planning on completing the rest. Check out Facebook daily to see them as they come out! Good morning everyone! I has been a little while since I last updated this. I have been a bit busy as of late getting ready for future events and with Inktober. What is Inktober? It is an art challenge where you are suppose to make an ink drawing every day in October. I participated last year, but only got half of it done. This year I plan on completing all 31 drawings. So far so good. Here is a look at the first 6 days. I will be updating the blog with pieces weekly. To see the pieces the day they are completed, head over to the Facebook page for Jedediah Kahl Illustration where I will be updating it daily.
Good morning everyone.
Here is a look at the latest center piece. This one centers around the theme of music. This is an important topic to the bride since she is a music teacher and helps at their church with their handbell group and different choirs. Here we get to see a new group for their first get together. It looks like they are having fun. Maybe we will hear more from them later. Good morning everyone!
Only one more centerpiece to go! This one is for a Saint Joan of Arc School Table. here is a look at a recreation of a statue of Saint Joan of Arc in the front of the church that the school is connected to. Stay tuned for the final piece! Welcome back everyone!
I know it has been a while since I posted the last center piece for the wedding. Here was what was originally believed to be the final piece. However, it has since been determined that I now have 2 more to make. They are invited more people and thus need a couple more tables. I already showed you the ones with their cats, and now it is time for the digs. Meet Manny and Jackson! Good morning, only one left after this one. If you missed last weeks post, you may not know that it was directed at the Groom. Today's centerpiece goes out to the Bride. Every year she volunteers to go to a work camp in Appalachia in West Virginia. This has become an important part of her life and she wanted it to be present on the day of her wedding. Here is a little thing to help remind her of the good times that she had on the many sites helping the many clients over the years. As I mentioned before, I only have 1 more piece to do and I sill be finished working on the centerpieces for their wedding. Stop[ on by next week to take a look at that and stay tuned for some information about a future project that I need to get back to.
