After taking a little time away from complex ink work after school let out, I am getting back in the saddle again. At the Senior Show & Celebration I showed my Senior Thesis, which was four pieces to be used as image plates for Edgar Allan Poe stories or poems. I am going to create another piece for this series.
At the show, one of the people I talked to said that they had wished that I had created an image for her favorite Edgar Allan Poe story. After reading the story, I am going to create a piece for it. The next piece for an Edgar Allan Poe image plate will be for the short story "The Black Cat". If you have not read the story, you can find it at:

If you haven't seen the other four Edgar Allan Poe pieces then head on over to the Black and White Ink Work Gallery or head on over to the official Facebook page for Jedediah Kahl Illustration at: https://www.facebook.com/JedediahKahlIllustration.
The other stories I have illustrated for are: The Raven, The Tell Tale-Heart, William Wilson, and The System of Dr. Tarr and Prof. Fether.
Stay tuned for updates on this new adventure into the mind of Edgar Allan Poe, a children's book I am currently writing and illustrating and other fun art news from Jedediah Kahl Illustration.
